Oscar Pistorius to go for psychiatric evaluation

Oscar Pistorius today found out that he is to be monitored by four psychiatrists as an outpatient as part of his trial.
The Blade Runner will be seen by the team of doctors at Weskoppies Hospital, Pretoria, for 30 days from 9am until 4pm every day.
The tests that will be carried out on him are taking place to find out whether he was criminally responsible on the night he shot dead Reeva Steenkamp on February 14 last year.
The evaluations will start next Monday lasting no longer than 30 days and the court will return on June 30.
The decision by Judge Thokozile Masipa followed a request for a psychiatric evaluation by chief prosecutor Gerrie Nel
