Two Men drowned while on Holiday in Malta

Two British men have reportedly drowned while on holiday in Malta. One of the victims is believed to be a 35-year-old dentist from Small Heath in Birmingham, reports the Birmingham Mail A second man aged 35 also died in the tragedy, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office confirmed. A third man survived after being rescued by passers-by. Maltese media said police sources confirmed a friend who was with them, also British, is being held for observation at the Gozo General Hospital suffering from shock. The Birmingham man's family were notified of his death at 7pm on Saturday.
