Mr. Eazi apologize to fans over ‘insensitive’ statement

Mr. Eazi has apologized to aggrieved fans across Nigeria over his controversial statement. He tendered the apology through his twitter handle
The apology read: “Just got a call, my family in Imeko are doing family meeting to deport me to Ghana. Abeg my Naija people no vex.”
The Headies 2016 Next Rated act, had earlier in a tweet said, “Nigeria Ghanaian music’s influence on Nigerian music cannot be over-emphasized.” This didn’t go down well with the Nigerian fans, as they took the statement from an unappreciative standpoint, going emotional on the singer.
