Mother of 4 and Her Neighbour Brutalise 16 yr old Housemaid With Hot Iron

The Lagos state police command recently arrested a certain Fatima Williams, and her neighbour, Waliu Yusuf for allegedly brutalising a 16-year-old housemaid with a hot iron and electric cables. According to PUNCH, the victim identified as Kemi was brought from Cotonou to work with Fatima Williams as a housemaid. She was allegedly tortured last week Thursday by the suspect for not sweeping her compound located on Allen avenue, Lagos.
The suspect and mother of four admitted that she told Yusuf to beat the victim, adding that the housemaid’s stubbornness had increased her blood pressure. She also accused the girl of stealing from her and stated that she couldn’t handle her rudeness and behaviour anymore.
Meanwhile, Waliu Yusuf stated that he only wanted to scare the victim with the iron when it injured her.
The suspects were arrested and paraded at the Ikeja Police Division. Meanwhile the victim was taken to the Police Cottage Hospital, Ikeja, for treatment.
The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni confirmed the arrest and said the suspects would be charged to court at the end of investigations.
