i iieThis is the terrifying moment a 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death on the top death of a London bus.
Kevin Ssali was on the number 202 on his way home when he got into a dispute with rival Chay Cox.
Chay sent a text message to his older brother Roree who happened to be on the number 261 bus travelling close behind.
When the two buses stopped at traffic lights, 18-year-old Roree got off his bus and ran to find his brother, arming himself with a knife concealed in his shoe at the same time.
In an attack lasting no more than five seconds, he ran onto the 202, up the steps and stabbed Kevin before fleeing.
Video footage from the bus shows Roree, wearing all black and a dark baseball cap, boarding the bus.
It then shows Cox reach up from the stairs and stab Kevin in an overarm motion.
Kevin is wearing a short-sleeved white t-shirt and can be seen walking down the stairs before clutching the stab wound in his chest.
Roree Cox was found guilty of murder at the Old Bailey and will be sentenced next month.
Detective Inspector John Marriott who led the investigation into Kevin's death said: "I would like to use today's verdict as an opportunity to thank all those people who have been brave enough to talk to us and help piece our investigation together. I know that Kevin's family appreciate the part they have played in seeing justice done for him.
"The events that led to Kevin's death started as an exchange between two boys that wasn't violent, or threatening to other people on the bus. Roree Cox's actions show a young man who was carrying a knife, and prepared to use it. He stabbed Kevin without even considering if his brother was in danger or if Kevin, who was unarmed, could fight back."
