Ex-Playboy Playmate, fatally, jumps off hotel with her son
A former Playmate model has fallen to her death with her seven-year-old son from the window of a New York City hotel, local media say.
Both the 47-year-old woman, named as Stephanie Adams, and the boy were pronounced dead at the scene, the Gotham Hotel in midtown Manhattan.
She was in a bitter custody battle with her estranged husband over the child, according to the New York Post. Adams and her son checked into the hotel Thursday at 6 p.m. and were assigned to the 25th floor suite.

Stephanie Adams and her estranged husband, Charles Nicolai, were in Manhattan Supreme Court on Wednesday morning — when she asked a judge for permission to take their son, Vincent, to Spain for the summer.
Nicolai, who has visitation rights, fought against the plans, and ultimately a judge sided with the Wall Street chiropractor. Adams was ordered to turn over Vincent’s passport as a result.

The 47-year-old mom sounded distraught in a two-minute phone call to The Post’s Richard Johnson around 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

She said Nicolai and his lawyer were blocking her from taking her son on vacation. “All I want to do is take my son and get away from this nightmare for a few days,” she said. “But they won’t let me.”

Bad News Discouraged Me From Blogging

I abandoned my blog for so many years, I started my blog in 2013 and I stopped blogging in 2018. I started calling myself a failed blogger because after blogging for so many years, I didn't get the anticipated traffic, so I abandoned it for more interesting things, well, so I thought, unknown to me, once a writer, always a writer, II have been writing on some of my social media platforms and I noticed the traffic is not exactly how I expect it to be, I started questioning myself, am I that bad? why am I not getting the level of interest that I envisaged from people, then it dawned on me. I... get it now.... I am called out to write for the purpose of uplifting, which means my stories and posts are all about good news and uplifting stories, this is not what most people like to hear, what they like is something catchy with an undertone of bad news, it's not their fault, the brain is wired to zoom in on the negatives. I woke up one morning and said to myself, if sharing good news...
