Meet the woman that put smiles on the faces of Abused and homeless women-Olubunmi Ajai

Olubunmi Ajai Layode is the founder of Greenlands Assistance Haven, she started this non profit organization to cater to the needs of women who are in toxic relationships and do not have where to stay at the point of serious abuse by their partners,  Mrs Layode along with friends and sponsors help provide shelter for the women until they are emotionally stable.

she is definitely a woman with a beautiful soul, she is also very witty and smart.

Below is a unique picture of her showing how passionate and touched she felt during a seminar for victims.

She shared this picture and a short story on her face book page today.

A picture, they say, says a thousand words. My instinctive reaction was caught on camera at the #LeaveToLive seminar Greenlands had in December 2016 when I heard a former victim who is now a survivor tell her story of how her husband would beat her, strip her naked in front of her children, push her out of the house and lock her out. Naked. The neighbours knew what she looked like naked as they were the ones who would come to her aid and cover her nakedness.
Today, she is fin...e. She has left the abuse and is doing fine with her children. Please let's get stories of survival like this out there for people who are still in the shackles of domestic violence. There is life after leaving.
Please support my project of bringing these stories to victims who don't have access to the internet either because they are indigent or because their abusers have banned them from access to the internet or to Facebook.
