Mick Jagger denies splitting from L'Wren Scott before her death as rep blasts "horrible rumours



Mick Jagger has denied splitting up from L'Wren Scott in the weeks before her tragic death.
A spokesperson for the 70-year-old was forced to issue a statement late on Monday after a US website claimed the couple had separated.
"The story in the New York Post re a split between Mick Jagger and L'Wren Scott is 100% untrue," said his spokeswoman, Victoria Scarfone.
"There is absolutely no basis in fact to this story. It is a horrible and inaccurate piece of gossip during this very tragic time for Mick."
Jagger was "completely shocked and devastated" after being told the tragic news of Scott's death, who he began dating in 2001.
The beautiful and talented fashion designer's sad passing comes a month after she cancelled a show at London Fashion Week, blaming production delays and missing key fabric pieces.
But it has since been revealed Scott, who is believed to be 49, was suffering a financial crisis with debts of £4million.
According to its last UK filing Scott's firm, LS Fashion Limited, owed creditors about $7.6m (£4.6m), as of 31 December 2012. It had assets of $1.7m
